A wonderful fully hallmarked sterling silver & guilloche enamel compact mirror which was crafted by Turner & Simpson in 1950. This accessory is in super condition - no losses or fading. Any light patches are only the studio lights reflecting on the enamel.

The lid is adorned with splendid azure blue guilloche enamel fashioned into the classic Art Deco sunburst design framed with a border of linked geometric shapes. A sterling silver bead and spindle border further enhances the design. The interior case is fitted with a good clear mirror which gives an accurate reflection. The catch and hinge work perfectly. The base is decorated with a stylish engine turned design. Measures 7.2 cm diameter. Weighs 87.3 grams. An immaculate pouch is included.
