A beautiful unused gilded Stratton compact which was crafted in the late 1950s. This early Stratton Queen Convertible is ideal for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67mm diameter. The compact is decorated with a glorious gilt finish throughout which will prevent it from tarnishing. The exacting standards of the maker means that this accessory will not require any cleaning. The lid is embellished with a textured design and a diamond cut star motif. The mirror is bevelled and gives an excellent clear reflection. The original box, pouch, signed puff and sifter are present. All catches and hinges work perfectly. Measures 3 1/4 inches diameter. Weighs 99.6 grams.
