The compact is gilded throughout.

The lid is decorated with black and red floral motifs on an etched gilded brass background that the makers named Linen.

The original pouch, sifter and an immaculate pink puff are present.

All in good condition.

The catches and hinges work perfectly.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

Gleaming clean.

No powder residue.

The base is signed Stratton ENGLAND.

Measures 8 cm diameter. Weighs 95.1 grams.

This Stratton Convertible compact is suitable as a handbag mirror and also for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 67 mm diameter or less.
