A magnificent high quality fully hallmarked antique gold locket pendant which is suspended from a stylish 18 inch 9 carat gold necklace.

This solid gold locket pendant was assayed (tested for gold purity) at Chester Assay Office in 1912.

The images taken on the black background mannequin give the most accurate depiction of this rare antique locket.

Absolutely stunning!

The anterior surface is decorated with a shield cartouche which is framed with an ornately embossed edge.

The posterior surface is also ornamented with this richly embossed edge and the same stylish linear design.

The shield symbolises the desire to protect.

The original 9 carat gold frames and also two clear portrait protectors are present.

The hinge and catch work perfectly.

This first rate locket is sound in every way.

All of the lockets in our collection are fully hallmarked and they have been examined to check that they have no splits, cracks or damage.

This impressive antique pendant is ideal to hold two photographs, portraits or locks of hair.
