Gents Omega wrist watch, 1960.

The watch has a calibre 285 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it carries the serial number 17,892,581 which dates it back to 1960.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and while the case back is stainless steel. If viewed closely, there is some rubbing to the plate on the lugs. The inside of the case back has the Omega logo, and the case reference 14726-2SC which is correct for the calibre 285 movement.

The lens is in lovely condition (some natural light reflection showing in the front photos).

The signed dial has its original dial and centre seconds hand (a little marking to the seconds hand). There is light surface marking to the dial but not too detrimental at all.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
