This is a superb quality pair of 19th century Qing Dynasty Chinese gouache pith paintings of imperial court interiors in attractive modern frames. Each scene depicts two young women exquisitely dressed, one sitting at a marble-topped table, the other standing. In one scene the women are displaying flowers in two vases while on the other, a magnificent bowl of fruit is displayed on the table.

Condition: Very good antique condition with bright colours against a white background. There is some minor discolouration. Pink silk covered mounts and gilt frames are in excellent condition. They are ready to hang.
