Description

Regency Tunbridge influence jewellery box veneerer in tumbling block decoration to the top and with Van Dyke tringles to the sides. These refer to the fashionable triangular collars worn at the time of Van Dyke.
There are many woods forming the decoration ranging from rosewood, tulip, mahogany, bubinga, yew, ebony, maple, sycamore, box and possibly more.
The box has a sarcophagus form supported on bun feet with ring handles. The corners are decorated in quartered beads. Internally the box is freshly lined with a snug fitting tray
