Superb bound volume titled Plans of the Battle of Waterloo.

Measuring 17 inches x 12 inches, there is some damage to the cover (front detached) and foxing to the engravings.

The book houses maps showing the disposition of the French and Prussian forces at approximately hourly intervals on the 18th and 19th of June 1815, with engravings of the Field of Quatre-Bras, Field of Ligny and the Field of Waterloo, with troop positions and movements.

The engravings are modelled by W Siborne and engraved by Freebairn.

A fantastic volume for the military enthusiast or followers of the Battle of Waterloo.
