Description

A fine example of a French Louis XV style decorative double bed. Having been finished in a typical painted style and deep button upholstery it has a beautiful and authentic French look. An excellent addtion to any home, this style of bed will work well with a range of home interiors and styles.

Excellent structural condition for its age and use, having been well maintained throughout its life.

Fits a standard Uk double bed mattress
(Due to the curved nature of the foot board the mattress maybe a bit snug at this end but will fit okay.)

Deep button upholstery in a lovely bright blue tone.
Could benefit from re-upholstery due to age of the material however it is still in very good condition for use with no tears or rips.
A deep professional clean would significantly improve its current condition and subtle fading from use.

There is currently no supporting bed framework however we can provide this for a small additional cost.

Overall this bed is in stunning condition for its age and use,
There maybe some subtle marks or knocks in the wood or paintwork due to age, however this does not detract from the overall look of the piece and is in keeping with its distressed / shabby chic look.
