Description

Antique silver sugar bowl.
The bowl stands on three paw feet and features an embossed swagged floral design.

The bowl is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1894 and the makers George Nathan and Ridley Hayes.
The hallmarks are quite rubbed.

George Nathan and Ridley Hayes worked out of Icknield Street and Howard Street, Birmingham. They also had premises in Hatton Garden, London.

The bowl measures 10 cm (4") in diameter by 5.5 cm (2.25") high, and weighs 108 grams.
All measurements are approximate.

The silver is in good overall condition with no splits or dents. The paw feet do not all stand flat, so the bowl is very slightly canted to one side.
