Antique early Caughley porcelain "Fisherman" pattern pickle dish.
The design dates to c1785.
The pickle dish is not marked with any factory mark.

The drainer measures approximately 10 cm (4") wide by 10cm (4") long, by 3 cm (1.25") deep.

The pickle dish has several faults.
There is a blown bubble to the inside side and some dust/sand included under the glaze and over the print on the inside bottom. These faults are from the original manufacture.
There is a large flake chip to the top edge (approximately 1.5 cm long), a chip, crack to the underside edge, plus further fritting to the footrim.
