Description

Antique early Caughley porcelain "Fence and house" pattern tea bowl.
The design dates to c1780.
The tea bowl is not marked with any factory mark, but it does have a hand painted "x", which is a printer's or foreman's tally/check mark.

The bowl measures 8 cm (3.25") in diameter across the top by 4.5 cm (1.75") tall.
All measurements are approximate.

The bowl is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or restoration.
The edge gilding is worn. The printed design is clear.
