Description

Victorian bar brooch with two horseshoes. The brooch is fashioned to give the appearance of being made from bamboo.

The brooch is fully hallmarked 9ct gold, was assayed in Birmingham in 1900, and bears the maker's mark of "JRE".

The brooch measures approximately 4.2 cm (1.7") wide.

The securing pin works well although it, along with the "C" clasp, have obviously been bent out of shape at some point.
