Edwardian silver horseshoe brooch, fully hallmarked for Chester, 1908, and the maker Richard James Oliver.
The hallmarks are crisp and clear apart from the maker's mark which is quite difficult to discern.

Richard James Oliver was based in Clerkenwell, London.

The brooch is approximately 3.7 cm (1.5") wide.

The brooch is in very good overall condition, though the "C" pin catch is slightly misshapen.
