Description

This white Royal Worcester salt dish is modelled as a Dolphin surmounted by a clam shell, and was produced, as dated by the Royal Worcester backstamp, in 1962.
The dish carries the pattern number G92. This would indicate it was original developed by Grainger & Co in the late 1800s. Grainger was bought out by Royal Worcester in 1889, and they, as can be seen by this piece, continued to produce the old designs for many years.

The dish measures 11 cm (4.3") wide, and the whole piece stands 11.5 cm (4.5") high. The oval base is 8 cm (3.2") by 11 cm (4.3").
All measurements are approximate.

The dish is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration noted.

Please see photos as these form an important part of the description.
