Pair of antique Irish silver serving/table spoons.

The spoons have matching engraved decoration to the finial.

The spoons are hallmarked for Dublin, 1842 and the maker "J.S".
The marks are fairly clear on one spoon, but rubbed on the other.

We have not been able to identify the maker further, as there are a number of "J.S" listed.

Each spoon bowl measures 4.5 cm (1.75") by 8 cm (3"). The length of each spoon is 24.5 cm (9.7"). The combined weight is 143g.
All measurements are approximate.

The spoons are in very good condition.
