Victorian silver sugar sifter, featuring a pierced shell bowl, with an unusual twisted wire design handle.

The sifter is fully hallmarked for London, 1897, and the makers Haseler Brothers (Edward John and Noble).
All hallmarks are crisp and clear.

The Haseler brothers operated from Branston Street, Birmingham.
The sifter is 10.8 cm (4.2") long. The pierced bowl is 3.8 cm (1.5") in diameter and 1 cm (.4") deep. It weighs 18 grams.
All measurements are approximate.
The sifter is in very good condition, though the bowl is very slightly misshapen.
