Description

Antique Aberdeen Scottish provincial silver toddy ladle, with an "R" monogrammed finial.

The toddy ladle bears the hallmarks for G & A Booth, and the Aberdeen "ABD" town mark.
The Richard Turner reference book on Scottish provincial silver dates the Booths' work to c1826-1850.

The toddy ladle is 16 cm (6.2") long. The bowl is 4.7 cm (1.8") by 4 cm (1.5") and is 1.5 cm (.6") deep. It weighs 38 grams.
All measurements are approximate.
The toddy ladle is in very good condition, with just light overall scratching commensurate with age and usage.
