Description

Lalique paperweight featuring an Owl ("Chouette") sculpture.
It is a design of René Lalique, originally produced in 1931. The sculpture is still in production. This example is a late 20c/early 21c production.
The side of the base of the weight is engraved "Lalique ® France".

The base of the weight measures 3 cm (1.2") in diameter. The height is 8.8 cm (3.4").
All measurements are approximate.

The weight is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks, and only minimal base wear.
