Moineau coquet - Sparrow head in wing.
This original glass René Lalique paperweight was originally designed by René in 1930.
Over the years slightly modified crystal versions have been produced, but none are now in production.

The weight is engraved "R Lalique France" in script to the base.

The base of the weight measures approximately 110mm (4.3") wide by 86mm (3.4") high.
All measurements are approximate.

The weight is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks, and whilst there is some base wear, it is commensurate with the age of this piece.
