Description
An oak stool with upholstered seat, c 1900s. This is a very fine example of an arts and crafts stool, and would originally have had a rush seat. Made of oak, four well turned legs with turned stretcher, upholstered seat. It is in very good condition with great colour and patina, newly re-upholstered in a Timorous Beasties jute fabric. It would make a lovely dressing stool: it is a good height, and the padded seat makes it surprisingly comfortable.Dimensions: H53cm, W36cm, D30cm
