Description

This is a very good Victorian Loo or breakfast table. The table dates to around 1870 and is made in burr walnut. The burr walnut top is wonderfully opulent. The oval top has a moulded walnut edge and the apron is inlaid with box wood stringing. The top is a flip up so the table can be stored out of the way when not in use and will not overpower your space. The table has its original brass catches underneath.

The table stands on its original birdcage base and the base is magnificent. The base has four turned columns with central finial and this terminates in shaped and carved legs with original pot casters.

This is a magnificent table. The condition is good. This table would look good in a principal room, especially a window location where the sunlight will illuminate the rich burr walnut top. A good period antique.

The table is 47 inches wide and 34 inches deep and 28 inches high.
