Description

This is a very large Victorian revolving bookcase. It is made in polished walnut and is late Victorian dating to around 1880. The bookcase has a central column and stands on four feet which revolve from inside the central column. The feet have their original pot casters. The bookcase has a reeded apron. It has two shelves, each with four sections and these have slatted sides.

This is a very large and imposing revolving bookcase. It will take large volumes and has a large polished top on which you can display an open book. The condition is excellent. It spins freely.

This is a good thing. It will look good in a home library next to polished walnut and mahogany and glowing leather. I like this sort of furniture. There is something very manly and gentlemanly about it.

The revolving walnut bookcase is 36.5 inches high and 27 inches by 27 inches wide and deep. The bookcase will hold large volumes upto 11.25 inches high by 9 inches deep.
