Description

This is such an elegant centre table. It is Regency, dating to around 1820. It is a centre table as it has a drawer front and back (and blind drawers each side) so can be put in the middle of a room but equally it would look lovely pushed up against a wall or drawn up to the back of a sofa or with a lamp on top.

The centre table is very opulent and made in rosewood. It has a rectangular top with two moulded frieze drawers. It stands on an octagonal baluster column and a quatreform base with bun feet and concealed castors.

The condition is very good with no sign of damage or worm and the rosewood is well polished.

This is a quality period table. It has pretty, small, proportions and will look particularly good in an elegantly furnished principal room furnished in antiques.

The centre table is 36 inches wide and 18 inches deep and 29.5 inches high.
