Description

These are a very good set of period chairs. The chairs are Georgian, dating to around 1800. The chairs are made in solid mahogany with carved detailing to the the back risers and reeding to the top rail. The chairs have swept back legs and drop in seats.

I love the simple elegance of the designs from this period. The joints are solid and the mahogany well polished. There is no sign of damage or worm. Marks from usage as you would expect.

They have very attractive upholstery. This is old but beautifully in keeping with the chairs. One seat has a slightly different covering - see photos. As these are drop in seats it will be easy to tack over a material in keeping with your colour scheme.

These are a very good set of period chairs. They are ready to go in to your home and will look good with a period table in an antique setting.

The chair backs are 34 inches high and the seats are each 18 inches high and the seats are each 19 inches wide.
