Description

This is a really good hall stand. Victorian hall stands can be heavy and lowering but this is wonderfully bright and colourful and airy and will bring instant charm to your entrance hall.

The hall stand is Victorian, dating to around 1890 and is made in solid oak. The hall stand is in wonderful condition and the oak is a good polished colour. The hall stand has a carved crest above and bobbin turned supports to the top and around the umbrella stand. It has its original shaped hooks all in good condition and an open back. The central mirror is bevelled and it has a marble top to the glove drawer. Look how bright the original tiles look. They are all in good condition with no cracks. The umbrella stands have their original trays with turned finials on the outside risers.

I love this hall stand. There is something of the Aesthetics style to it but it will happily sit amongst oak and Arts and Crafts furniture from the same period and will bring a lightness to your entrance hall.

Condition good. No worm or damage.

The hall stand is 81 inches high and 34.25 inches wide and 12.5 inches deep.
