These armchairs are beautiful. They were made in the last twenty or so years. They have their 1988 fire labels underneath. These chairs would have cost a couple of thousand pounds each when they were originally purchased. They are upholstered in leather and it is the most supple and sumptuous leather you could wish for. The armchairs have buttoned backs, shaped wings and arms and stand on four cabriole legs.

The chairs are in good condition. Minor signs of usage but little wear. Quality leather like this will age well. It actually gets a better patina the more it is used and the price of chairs of this quality will increase in value. Try to buy a pair of leather wingbacks from the 1920s and 1930s for less than two to three thousand!!

I love these chairs. They will look wonderful in a home library or either side of a fireplace in a principal room furnished in antiques. Top drawer pieces.

The chair seats are at 17.5 inches high and the backs are 41 inches high and it is 32 inches wide from outside arm to outside arm.

If you require a courier to deliver, do not despair as it is a lot easier to arrange than you would imagine and probably a lot cheaper as well. Most couriers cover most parts of the country on a three week cycle. Once you have booked with them they will get in touch with me directly for collection so you only need concern yourself with the delivery date to you.You pay the couriers for their service on delivery.
