Description

This is a very good rococo commode chest of drawers. It was made by the Italian furniture company Silik. Silik uses contemporary materials in their furniture but to antique rococo designs. Their furniture is beautifully finished with hand painting and gilding. They are fearfully expensive. As an example, this chest retails at 6000 euros!! I am selling other pieces from this bedroom suite so do check out my other listings.

This is very romantic furniture. I love the bombe shape to the chest. It is elegant but also has so much presence. The chest has hand painted floral decoration with gilded swags. The chest is a wonderful shape with the sweep of the sides and front and the keeled corners and knurled feet.

The chest is in good condition with no damage.

A chest like this will bring elegance to any bedroom whether it is furnished in antiques or more contemporary design.

The chest is 32 inches high and 55 inches wide and 22 inches deep.
