Description

It is wonderful to see a Victorian compactum wardrobe in such fine fettle. The flame mahogany is uniformally excellent. Of its type, this may be the best double wardrobe you will see. It is a very handsome piece.

The wardrobe is late Victorian dating to around 1870 or so. The wardrobe has a cornice above with arched panels to the doors and it stands on a plinth base.

The wardrobe is beautifully fitted with a large hanging section, a full length drawer, a suite of drawers with campaign handles and sliding shelves for bulkier items like jumpers and blankets. This wardrobe will hold a lot of clothes!

The wardrobe is in excellent condition throughout.

The wardrobe splits for moving. The cornice detaches the base comes off the back panel comes off the doors unscrew the central section splits in two.

The wardrobe has a lot of screws and took me an hour on my own to reassemble! The end result is stunning. The condition of this wardrobe may be the best I have had the opportunity to offer.
