Two Buccheri Vases by Gio Ponti and by the great Artisan Carlo Alberto Rossi of the 40's.

This is genuinely a extremely rare and possible once in a life time opportunity to acquire these works, excellent provenance. They were last shown at IX Triennale di Milano 1951.

The bucchero is a special clay. From the Etruscan times it was dried in open air and ,then baked in oven at very high temperature, which removes oxygen and transformed clay into ferrous-oxide,which is a "paste" integrally black-glossy-thin.


They are approx. 28 cm height Perfect condition with a certificate of authenticity from the Ponti estate and the Ponti Archive.
