Impressive 19th C. Giltwood Overmantle Mirror

Description
A large and impressive Giltwood Overmantle mirror from the mid 19th century. Having intricate decoration throughout the frame. The mirror flanked by 2 Corinthian columns with an inverted break fronted moulded arched top. The split pediment with a centre vase cresting and decorated with swags and flowers. To the base is a moulded edge flanked by beautiful scrolled foliage. Retaining the original mirror plate of which gives a good clear reflection, original panelled back and makers label.
