Description

A Swiss late 17th / early 18th Century Oak Tavern dining table. Known in the Swiss alps and German Bavarian region as a Jogl table. The planked top with cleated ends above a frieze with drawers at each end and resting on splayed turned legs united with stretchers. The draw leaf ends slide in below the central top. Excellent worn condition displaying various marks, scratches, bumps, knocks and staining consistent with age and use.
