A well carved oak bureau of the mid Victorian period. With a well fitted interior and leather writing area, it is all on the outside where the real work is. Smothered in crisp hand carved detail, right down to the lion mask handles and original top rail. The condition is very good with no shrinkage, splits or losses. Cleaned and hand waxed ready to use.
