A superb and rare pair of Victorian birch rocking chairs. The gents being slightly larger than the ladies and of Lancashire origins. These chairs are set on turned front legs below a shaped front apron, fishtail arms and a beautiful back which shows a range of turnings, shaped rails and a wonderful central back splat. These chairs were stripped, polished and upholstered approximately twenty years ago and are in excellent condition. The seats are of the drop in type which also makes for easier re-upholstering when required.
