Oak Fire Surround

Description

Highly unusual to get this kind of fire surround made in the 1920's/30's. Most of this arrangement are late Victorian or Edwardian and of a much different style. Most likely a special commission to match a dining room suite of the drawleaf table type. The copper inset is original and it's design gives a medieval influence. The fine front is also intact but the grate will need replacing. A rare item indeed in good overall condition and not difficult to fit.
