Description

The heart shaped top still retains the coloured traces of painted red, white and yellow flowers amongst leaves and buds on stems. The background is a finely worked stippling, indented cork effect. The three simply turned legs have a good patina and the whole is in excellent original condition. This piece was probably commissioned as a gift for a special one.
