Description

This is a very attractive natural oak roll top desk from Edwardian period. With fielded (bevelled) panels to all sides this desk can be stood either against the wall or in the centre of a room. When the tambour is closed all the drawers lock automatically and release when the tambour is fully opened. The writing surface has been treated to a new tooled leather and the tambour lock has two keys. The interior is nicely fitted with two drawers and a selection of compartments. This model has the letter slides for when the desk is locked. Sympathetically restored to our exacting standards and breaks down into three main parts allowing it to go through most tight doorways.
