Description

A good walnut late Victorian standard sized double bed. Although the side rails have been slightly lowered in line with today's lower mattresses, the bed ends are very original with turned finials to the head and foot and very attractive figured walnut veneer panels to the centre of both the head and foot. All very sturdy and comes with a new 5 inch base ready for a standard 4'6" mattress. The French polish has been revitalized and the whole looks great.
