Description

Still in it's original brown scrumble paint, this small bedroom chest has survived remarkably well. Numerous old marks and blemishes and yet all seem to tone in with the age of the chest. In Vicotorian times not all classes of people could afford solid walnut or mahogany,so a great amount of furniture was made from pine and would then have a wood grain finish(hence the name scrumble) usually done with combs and feathers. This is a great example and also a very useful item. Cleaned and wax polished ready to enjoy.
