Description

A 12 inch diameter terrestrial globe dating to the late 19th Century.( it shows the Suez canal, but the capital of Australia is still Melbourne, Canberra not shown) It has 12 printed and had coloured gores, highlighting the European Empires and ocean currents. Standing on a turned ebonised beech base Made by G. Thomas, Rue des Champs, Paris.

Current Condition
In good overall condition and good colouration, some surface wear and small indentation over Russia. If you would like to see a video of this please email us.
