Description

Antique early c20th Norwegian painted Bentwood oval box, known as Rosemäling. The maroon and autumnal coloured box has a finial on the lid, the box rests on four feet and hearts are carved into each handle. Excellent Condition the base has a sound of something rolling around, probably happened when being made but it is a beautiful piece of Norwegian heritage. H. 10cm-14cm. Dia 15cm-20cm. Rim and base. Finial height 4.5cm.
