Description

A superb 18th century silver gilt Florentine mirror, the frame decorated with intricate carved scrolls and rolling foliage with the top raising up into a crest and to the bottom a painted and gold gilt coat of arms. The later mirror plate is inset into a heavily gilt molded boarder, to the back there are old supports strengthening the intricate structure with a later back board housing the mirror plate.
There are some minor chips to the gilding and distressed ware commiserate with age, the overall condition of the mirror is excellent.
