Description

A silver plated Claret jug circa 1900 and made by James Deakin and sons of Sheffield.
The jug has a wide base with a tapered body, the hand molded glass being decorated with stylish swags. The silver plated top having a finely decorated short spout and a suspended handle with a swans head at the top. The rounded lid having a small finial enabling the top to be operated with your thumb.
There is some very slight ware to the silver plate commensurate with age , but overall the claret jug is in excellent condition.
