Description

A heavy duty 16th century repoussé water bucket, decorated with heraldic shields , mythical beasts , ornate foliate designs , satyr masks and what appears to be a portrait of an emperor.
The bucket has a lovely dark bronze colour and is made of thick gauge brass or bronze.
The base has been restored probably in the late 1800's - early 1900's, the bucket still retains its original riveted carrying handle .

overall this is in excellent condition for its age and is a lovely collectors piece.
