Description
An oil on canvas depicting cattle by a river or stream signed thomas sidney cooper RA 1882.The painting is very dirty and would benifit from a proffesional clean and possibly some touching in. It is housed in a gilt gesso frame, which is most likely the original frame, which also needs some minor restoration as there are a could of losses evident. The stretcher is original and there are no visible signs of relining.
Overall the painting is in good condition and is ready to hang as it is.
