A superb quality 18th Century bombe fronted Dutch marquetry and walnut cabinet, having a wonderfully shaped cornice with carved shell decoration at the centre, two shaped glazed doors below opening to reveal two shaped shelves inside, the sides of the cabinet are also glazed, the base section comprising of two short over two graduated oak lined drawers with original brass plate handles and escutcheons, carved and shaped apron below, supported on carved claw feet. Profusely inlaid with marquetry throughout and in excellent condition and having a lovely warm walnut colour. Circa 1780.
