A 1930's Avery Hardoll of Surrey CH1 type petrol pump, this would have been used as a commercial pump mainly in transport yards and farms. A very simple design and slender in appearance with a single dial to the central column. The pump would have had a crank handle to the front so that you could turn and pump the fuel out through the connecting hose. In its original red and black livery.
