1930s pocket watch from J W Benson of London
1930s pocket watch from J W Benson of London.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner dust cover which has a 1938 inscription from St Leonards Hospital.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is chrome plated and is in good condition, just general surface marks from use but nothing serious at all.
The watch glass is in good condition.
The dial is signed J W Benson, London, and it is in beautiful condition with original blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.
The watch comes with a single chain, 35cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain come in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
