We have for sale a rather lovely 1980s Henkel and Grossé of Pforzheim in Germany Gold plated gemstone and enameled brooch.

This very striking Henkel and Grossé Brooch is of very attractive pink and white stone floral branching form with lovely flashes of green enamel to the stems. The brooch is fitted with a pin and rollover clasp and carries the Grossé© mark to the back. Typically for Henkel and Grossé the brooch is beautifully made.

The Brooch is 2.1 inches (5.3cm) long and is in an excellent condition.

Henkel and Grossé was established in Pforzheim, Germany in 1907, by the early 1950s the company had become established as a high quality and sought after manufacturer of fashion antique jewellery. In 1955 Henkel and Grossé acquired a licence to manufacture and distribute Jewellery for Christian Dior. This agreement continued right up until 2005, when Christian Dior took over the Henkel and Grossé which became Les Ateliers Bijoux GmbH in Pforzheim.

Following the agreement with Christian Dior in 1955 Grossé continued to manufacture their own range of antique jewellery under the Grossé trade mark as well as jewellery for Christian Dior. Both outputs were of the same exceptional quality but the designs were quite distinct from one another.
