19th Century English Antique Oak Lambing Chair.
A very original, period oak, antique lambing chair, originally made in the North West region in England around 1830-40.
This kind of antique chair gets its name by being used by shepherds to keep warm young lambs that were brought into the home.
This antique lambing chair has a shaped top and bottom rail with panelled sides,back and front.
The lambing chair is on its original oak rockers and the drop in seat is upholstered in hessian.
A lovely period oak English antique lambing chair is great condition, the colour / patina is original, deep and even.
